TOP 10 HIGHLIGHTS
Don’t get stuck in the idea making process. You have to actually put the pencil down and start doing it and see how it feels to you.
Ask yourself what sort of meaning do you want to have in your art?” “What do I actually want to say with my art before I start saying what someone else wants me to?”
When you see something someone created, and you feel inspired to also create that thing, instead, pause and ask yourself “Why is this thing resonating with me?”. It will give you clues to finding your own creative voice.
You’ve got to be brave and try something that makes you uncomfortable AND that you know might fail. BUT the other side of that is, if it succeeds – the growth spurt is going to be EPIC.
What if God was EXPECTING you to create your own life?
When you have moved on, clean it out and let things go. Make room for something else.
The answers you are seeking are already inside of you. If you are genuinely seeking – the answers are there. They are waiting. Pause and seek them.
Just write down what you want. Have the goal. Have a picture of the life you’d like to be leading. Give yourself permission to actually want things. Start with asking yourself, “How do you want to feel?”
If you have a simmering frustration with what you are doing, it may be time to pivot. Pay attention. You don’t want to get to a place where you are boiling and your health takes a toll.
As soon as you say “I don’t want to think this way anymore. I don’t want to do this and I know its a problem, but I don’t know how to get rid of this problem” that’s the Surrender. That’s when all the answers will start coming to you.
